What is a Green Deal Assessor?
A Green Deal Assessor will carry out an energy assessment on a property whose occupants have requested Green Deal Funding. The assessor will produce an Energy Performance Certificate that will make energy efficiency recommendations. These recommendations may include wall or loft insulation, double glazing, boiler upgrade to a condensing boiler, heating controls, solar water heating, photovoltaics & wind turbines to mention just a few. The Assessor will then pass the recommendations on to the Green Deal Provider who will then get Green Deal Installers to carry out the eligible energy efficiency work that they are Funding.
